So since I failed at commemmorating entry 100 and I've been doing nothing but bitch all summer (or that's what it feels like, anyway), let's make this entry a bit more cheerful, eh? Even though my summer's going to be over tomorrow. After it kind of only started yesterday. But regardless! My new JFK icon is making me happy (as is Clone High in general), and I had a really good day today, and I just got some awesome fandom news, so I'm in a good mood! You might not actually get much emo whining this time! =D

Yeah, so... I was really bored at work today, and my computer here has photoshop. Soooo... I whipped up a batch of Neil icons using those new photos that came out today as bases!

This spreadsheet has been downloading for an hour and a half. LITERALLY. AN HOUR. AND A HALF. I hate this computer.

Hence the random middle-of-workday update. Not really much to report. Spent most of yesterday doing HIMYM Awards stuff very VERY belatedly. Luckily, now Lark's my fellow mod-god and can keep me in check! &hearts

But really, the real reason I wanted to make this post is because I GOT TAGGED ON TV TROPES, Y'ALL.

ETA: Why are DVD sets so bloody EXPENSIVE? And why do I have the need to own so many of them? If I get all the sets I want, I'll be out almost $150. That is worth fifteen hours of staring at the still-loading-two-hours-later-OMFG spreadsheet of DOOM! But on the other hand, it's TV. And I could watch the episodes over and over and over to my heart's content. GAH. STUPID LACK OF IMPULSE CONTROL.

I'm in a pretty good mood today, after spending all of yesterday living in the hellpit that is my brain. After talking it out on the phone with my friend for two hours last night, I decided I'm going to talk to the school and try to get out of the credit part of my internship. And just that thought is enough to get me out of this funk I've been in for the past... while. So yay! =D

And to celebrate my good mood and try and warm up my atrophying fic-writing muscles, I'm doing a drabble/ficlet call!

The first five people to prompt me will get something written (eventually). I'm willing to try any fandom/pairing you want, as long as I'm familiar with it. And you guys know me. I write pretty much every genre except smut. (Though I'd prefer cracky prompts, since I haven't written any crack in far too long. I miss teh crackz.)

Wow, I haven't updated in a WHILE. But I don't have much to say, real-life wise. Right now, all that's going on in my life is work and the RP. Work alternates between dull and frustrating. The RP and everyone who participates in it alternate between awesome and awfsome.

Going to VA Beach this weekend for my cousin Ben's graduation. And for the first time in my life, I'm not looking forward to seeing them. I haven't seen them since Jack's funeral, and I don't know how I'm going to handle seeing them all again without him. It's horrible and selfish for me to think like that, I know, but... I am. Plus, Jack's trial's set for next week, and my mom's decided to stay down with them for a few days after the rest of us have left so she can be around for that, even though there's a good chance it's going to get delayed, since the guy who was driving the car that night is going to plead not-guilty when everyone knows that's bullshit.

I just want all this to be over. But I'm not sure it ever will be.

Typical. First official post of the summer, and it's me stressing out about something.
